The George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation shines as a beacon of light in the world of personal health education. I am honored to be part of the Foundation and to lead the effort to share macrobiotic philosophy and cooking.

Your direct financial support keeps this vital infor-mation available to many people throughout the world.

I’m often asked what the Ohsawa Foundation does so I thought I’d give you a brief overview. 

1. Next year marks our 44th annual French Meadows Summer Camp in the amazing Tahoe National Forest, high in California’s Sierra mountains. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy our signature event, coming on the tail of last year’s sold-out camp.
2. New in 2012 and 2013, your contribution helped fund scholarships for campers who would otherwise have been unable to attend.
3. We publish a selection of books on macrobiotic cooking, philosophy, and lifestyle. With your help we will continue to convert our most popular titles into digital media, thus allowing us to bring this ancient practice to contemporary people.
4. Every two months we provide both print and digital versions of Macrobiotics Today. Since 1960, our magazine has been inspiring people with new and historical information on macrobiotic theory and practice.

Ongoing expansion of our website allows us to make macrobiotic theory and practice available to people of many nations. For updates and other fun visit Facbook and “Like” our French Meadows Summer Camp page.
